Rocky Balboa once said. “If you know what you’re worth, then go out and get what you’re worth”. But how does one do it? Getting your worth is the later thing. The first thing to focus on is “What is your worth?”. And after that next thing is “Are you really worthy of getting what you think your worth is?” Answers to all these questions is not hidden in your future but in your present. The Time to live is now. Only your present actions can decide if your goals and dreams are achievable.
In 100-meter dash running competition, it was considered that it is practically and physically impossible for any one to complete the rase in less than 10 seconds. This theory is known as 10-Second Barrier. Till 14th October 1968 this theory was intact. But on this day Jim Hines of United States completed the race in 9.95 and proving the theory wrong. Now after that, when every one become aware of the fact that yes once can complete the track in less than 10 seconds. 145 people are able to cross the 10 seconds barrier. The difference which occurred is now people believed that this record is unbreakable.
That is the power of belief. Dreaming is the building block for achieving your goals but believing in yourself that YOU CAN achieve your goals is the adrenaline for goal setting. The next step in your goal setting is Precision and Dedication. The focus on short term goals while having an equal eye on the Long-Term goals. As William H. McRaven says:
